Mikah has one of the best “soft smiles” I’ve ever seen and her hair is A-MAZING. I often find myself jealous of my seniors and that was the case with Mikah. Her session in Palo Duro Canyon was so much fun and I ended up with a funny story to tell:

We had moved on to our third location in the canyon and we were snapping away taking pictures. Then Mikah’s mom Shawna says nonchalantly, “Oh, look there’s a spider.” So we look and immediately I shriek and run away because this was not just a spider, it was a tarantula!!! I had never before seen one in the wild and I never want to again because this thing was huge! Palo Duro Canyon will forever be changed for me because I will always be on the lookout for tarantulas.
