To say that I was excited about Kaden and Averye’s wedding would be an understatement. For one thing, the two of them are absolutely adorable. They are high school sweethearts and they knew they would one day get married. After several years, they committed their lives to one another in front of 400 of their closest family and friends. They are loved by a lot of people and it’s not surprising. 

The other reason I was so excited about this wedding was because of their venue, Kitalou Gin. It is unlike any venue I had photographed because it is authentically rustic and industrial, not something masquerading as rustic. It was an actual operating cotton gin and they transformed it into the most unique and exciting wedding venue that I’ve seen. It’s kind of unbelievable.

Kaden and Averye started their day by getting ready. Averye put on her wedding dress in what used to be an old weigh station. After the finishing touches were complete, they walked down the aisle in the cotton gin, which now looks more like a cathedral. The pair saw each other for the first time as Averye walked down the aisle. After exchanging vows and rings, they sang a worship song, filling the rafters, before officially becoming husband and wife. 

Their reception, which was both indoors and outdoors under the Texas sky, was an absolute blast. With 400 guests, it’s hard for there not to be a crazy party! We took a few sunset photos after their first dance and for the rest of the night, Kaden and Averye and all of their guests had the time of their lives.
