Featured | The Knot Texas Fall/Winter 2018 Real Weddings

I am so excited and proud to have my photos of Cassidyy and Daniel's Amarillo wedding featured in the Real Weddings section of The Knot Texas's Fall/Winter 2018 issue! Last November, the magazine contacted me to tell me they would like to feature the wedding and naturally, I was ecstatic. I kept it a secret since then (that was hard!) but now that the issue has been published, I am shouting it from the rooftops. It's such an honor to be published in one of the most popular wedding magazines in the country.

Cassidyy and Daniel's elegant industrial wedding at the Bowery Warehouse in Amarillo was one of my favorites of last year because it broke away from the typical rustic wedding you see in our area.

While that is perfect for some, Cassidyy and Daniel wanted something different for their wedding day. Daniel is originally from England and the couple knew they wanted to add some English charm and an industrial vibe to their August wedding. Since Daniel's family was unable to attend, they shipped decorations, books, and artifacts all the way from England to decorate their tables with and to surprise Daniel with a small slice of home.

Cassidyy and Daniel's wedding was beautifully created. Its urban vibe had personal touches, lovely details, and elegant florals - all thanks to Parie Designs. To Cassidyy and Daniel, a wedding day is important for a variety of reasons but most of all it was a day for them to celebrate their love and to become one among the people that they love most. They had fun with the planning and the decorating but at the end of the day, they just wanted to be husband and wife and spend the rest of their lives together.

I'm blessed to have been able to capture their love and the craftsmanship of all the wedding vendors involved in their day.
