This wedding seriously had it all: a Volkswagen van photo booth, live chickens, tons and tons of orchids, a food truck, and sweet ceremony in a lush, butterfly-filled garden. I don’t think weddings get better than that. Brian and Aliese created a beautiful wedding but more importantly, they focused the day around joining their two families by keeping things relaxed and easy-going. They got married in the bride’s cousin’s beautiful backyard and the day was an intimate celebration with close friends and family.

I told her I loved the idea and she rolled with it! She gathered props such as a globe and some old looking books by borrowing from various teachers. This girl drove all the way from Dumas to Palo Duro Canyon with a giant, heavy globe in her lap! We set up a sort of outdoor studio right in the middle of canyon and if anyone saw us as they drove by, they probably thought we were crazy. But it was totally worth it.
