Jordan + Allyson | Colorful and Bright Late Summer Wedding at the Resplendent Garden in Amarillo, TX
What a day! Jordan and Allyson’s wedding was the first wedding I have photographed since moving back to Texas - so my first wedding in nearly 10 months. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little nervous to be back shooting weddings but those feelings quickly dissipated when the day began. The details of this wedding were out of this world! Anything with a lot of color has my heart.
They began the day with a first look in the beautiful, unparalleled landscape of the Resplendent Garden. Later, they became husband and wife in the prettiest ceremony. The weather called for rain literally from 9 am to 9 pm but in a miracle, we didn’t receive a single drop and their day went perfectly! It felt like a dream.
The fun really began during the reception with some hilarious toasts and dinner served by Reagan’s Brick Oven pizza AND Joe Taco along with a grazing table from The Local Wedge and popsicles by Purple Flamingo Popsicles! I mean, can wedding food get any better than that?! I almost forgot to take pictures because I wanted to keep eating (just kidding!)
This wedding also had some of the most fun dancing and partying I’ve seen! It all ended with a sparkler send off as Jordan and Allyson rode off in a limo.
